Serbian Refugee Council SDF is one of the six founder organizations of the Serbian Refugee Council (SRC), non-governmental organization founded in 2004 in Belgrade. The SRC has been initiated with aim to become a relevant national asset that lobbies and partners with the Republican Government and other relevant stakeholders in order to ensure that the rights of refugees, IDPs, asylum seekers and forced migrants are protected even once the humanitarian crisis has passed. During 2005, SRC is going to conduct four advocacy campaigns on return to Croatia and B&H, access to rights for IDPs from Kosovo, promotion of refugee integration in Serbia and Asylum legislation. Documentation and Research Center will be established within SRC and it will consolidate the refugee-related documents and publications of its members. Cooperation will be established with universities in Serbia and their institutes dealing with refugee issues. Apart from that, strategic links will be established with all relevant national and international organizations, institutions and networks.
