Serbian Democratic Forum – SDF is a non-governmental, non-party, non-political and non-profit organization established on 14th April 1998 on the territory of Serbia and Montenegro with the goal to work on protection of refugees’ from R. Croatia human rights in cooperation with local and international organizations. Currently SDF has offices in Belgrade and Stara Pazova.

SDF’s vision is Serbia in which civilization values are respected and rights and interests of each individual are protected.

SDF’s mission is human rights protection and vulnerable groups’ empowerment.

The SDF’s goals are sustainable return of refugees and displaced persons, empowerment and vulnerable groups’ integration in the local community, legal framework creation and migrants and asylum seekers rights protection, establishing of more active cooperation with national minorities.

Permanent SDF activities:

• Provision of free legal and informative assistance to refugees and internally displaced persons in order to protect their human rights;
• Work on development of thrust and multiethnic tolerance;
• Development of legal analysis;
• Cooperation with local and international organizations that are dealing with vulnerable groups issues;
• Advocacy of vulnerable groups rights;
• Organization of conferences, seminars, round tables, workshops, tribunes and duties.

Values of SDF are respecting of human rights, solidarity, social welfare, tolerance, equality, rule of justice.
